EWYT350-RYT200 Program

350-hour East to West Yoga Teacher Certification (EWYT350-RYT200)
180 contact hours and 170 independent study hours

This 350-hour Yoga Teacher Certification Course that is registered with the Yoga Alliance at the RYT200 level is offered through an 8 weekend program. The program is designed to be done sequentially, but can be done out of order and indiviudual courses can be taken as CECs. Before registering for any of the individual courses, check availability. In Toronto this program runs annually the first weekend of every month from November to June and in Pickering the second weekend of every month from November to June. Prerequisite: Yoga Exercise Specialist Certification, you can start the EWYT350-RYT200 program after completing the Part I: YES and will need to complete Part II before receiving your final certification certificate and RYT200 registration application form. You must also send a signed letter of commitment to attend the full program along with your registration and payment.

Cost: Each weekend is $250 plus GST ($265.00) for a total cost of $2000 plus GST ($2120)and is paid one weekend at a time.

The total cost: EWYT350-RYT200, including the prerequisite YES certification, is $2500 plus GST ($2650).

YOGA ALLIANCE-RYT200 REGISTERED TEACHER TRAINING

The East to West Yoga Teacher 350-hour Certification program (EWYT350) is registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level and meets the RYT200 curriculum standards. They are:

- 180 Contact hours (with a Certified Yoga Teacher and/ or recognized Yoga school).

Techniques 75 hours
Teaching Methodology 15 hours
Anatomy and Physiology 10 hours
Philosophy/Ethics/lifestyle 20 hours
Practicum 5 hours
Remaining contact hours 55 hours (these hours must be distributed among the first five categories listed above)

- 20 Independent study hours

Graduates of the EWYT350 program are automatically qualified to become registered yoga teachers with the Yoga Alliance upon completion of the EWYT350 program.
